Part-Time Librarian
Location: La Condamine, Monaco
Salary: $1600 per month (pro-rated for part-time)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-Time Librarian to join our team at the library in La Condamine. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a librarian and possess excellent customer service skills. This position is perfect for someone looking for a part-time job with flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with locating materials and answering reference questions
- Check materials in and out, collect fines and fees, and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Shelve books and other library materials in the correct order
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the library shelves and workspaces
- Create displays to promote library resources and programs
- Assist with collection development by selecting new materials to add to the library's collection
- Provide basic computer assistance to patrons, including troubleshooting issues with library equipment
- Plan and facilitate library programs for all ages, such as storytimes, book clubs, and workshops
- Keep up-to-date on current trends in literature, technology, and library services

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred but not required; equivalent experience will be considered
- Previous experience working as a librarian or in a customer service role required
- Knowledge of library policies, procedures, and practices preferred
- Proficiency in using computers for research, cataloging, and assisting patrons
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed

Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position with a maximum of 20 hours per week. The schedule will be determined based on the needs of the library and may include evenings and weekends. The salary for this position is $1600 per month, pro-rated for part-time hours. This position does not include accommodation.
