Restaurant Manager - Funchal, Portugal
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant in beautiful Funchal, Portugal. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the restaurant including staffing, budgeting, inventory management, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the restaurant
- Manage and train staff members
- Create and implement schedules for employees
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Collaborate with the chef to create menus that meet customer preferences and dietary restrictions
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
- Proven track record of successfully managing a restaurant operation
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and inventory management
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office applications
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
