Back-End Software Engineer

As a Back-End Software Engineer at our growing tech company in Svalbard, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic and systems that power our web and mobile applications. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary of 1700$, along with visa sponsorship for the right candidate.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 2 years of experience working as a Back-End Developer or Software Engineer
- Strong knowledge of back-end programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby
- Experience with back-end frameworks such as Spring, Django or Rails
- Familiarity with database management systems, specifically SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Knowledge of front-end technologies is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement efficient and scalable back-end solutions for our web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop new features
- Optimize application performance by conducting regular code reviews, debugging, and testing
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users and provide timely resolution
- Ensure data security by implementing proper authorization and authentication protocols
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our products
