Housekeeping Manager


The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the housekeeping staff in a fast-paced environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, as well as strong leadership and organizational abilities. The ideal candidate will have previous management experience in the housekeeping industry and a thorough understanding of cleaning procedures and techniques.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including scheduling, training, and supervising staff.
- Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and identify any maintenance issues.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Respond promptly to guest requests or complaints related to housekeeping services.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of hotel services.
- Monitor budget for the housekeeping department, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Train new employees on proper cleaning techniques and hotel policies.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role in a hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemicals, tools, and equipment used in housekeeping operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team towards achieving set goals.
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Good physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Al-Rayyan, Qatar. Applicants must be eligible to work in Qatar.
