We are seeking a skilled Typesetter to join our publishing team in Os, Norway. In this role, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images for printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in typesetting and be proficient in using industry-standard software such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images according to design guidelines
- Ensure accurate spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and printers to produce high-quality print materials
- Use industry-standard software to typeset various printed materials
- Make necessary adjustments to layout, spacing, and font styles as needed
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Strong understanding of typography principles
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field
- Experience working in publishing or printing industries
- Familiarity with different file formats (PDF, EPS, TIFF)
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for digital typesetting
