Merchandising Coordinator - Sheduva, Kenya


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Merchandising Coordinator in Sheduva, Kenya. As a Merchandising Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of product merchandising for our company in the African market.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective merchandising strategies for our products in Kenya
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and negotiate pricing
- Manage inventory levels and ensure availability of products at all times
- Create attractive product displays that effectively showcase our brand and drive sales
- Train store staff on product knowledge and merchandising techniques
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to management
- Stay updated on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in merchandising or retail management role
- Knowledge of the African market and consumer preferences is a plus
- Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Swahili is a plus

Salary:
$1600 per month
