Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Design Specialist

As a Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Design Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of various infrastructure projects in the city of Kaunas. You will collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all safety standards. Your expertise in designing roads, bridges, and other structures will be crucial in developing innovative solutions for complex challenges.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to determine project feasibility
- Develop detailed designs and plans for infrastructure projects
- Prepare cost estimates and timelines for project proposals
- Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design plans and specifications
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion
- Stay updated on industry developments and incorporate new technologies into design processes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in infrastructure design
- Familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
- Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and techniques
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or equivalent certification
- Experience working on infrastructure projects in Kaunas or Lithuania
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Fluency in Lithuanian or Russian is an asset

Salary: Starting at 1200$ per month depending on qualifications.
Contract Type: Full-time contract position.
