Excavator Operator


Excavator operators are responsible for operating heavy machinery to excavate, move, and load materials. They work on construction sites, digging trenches, leveling terrain, and performing other tasks as directed by the project manager. The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience as an excavator operator and be able to work full time in Wiltz.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, load trucks, and move materials
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment
- Inspect equipment before use and report any malfunctions or issues
- Communicate with project manager and other team members to coordinate tasks
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed
- Keep accurate records of work hours and tasks completed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1500 per month.
