Senior Accountant
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of our company. Your primary goal will be to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data, while also providing financial insights and recommendations to aid in decision making. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Monitor and analyze budget variances and report on financial performance to management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
- Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or errors in financial records
- Provide guidance and training to junior accounting staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or related field
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Location: Atlanta (with accommodation)
Salary: $1100/month (negotiable based on experience)
