Typesetter (Part-time)


We are a publishing company based in Karachi and we are seeking a skilled typesetter to join our team on a part-time basis. As a typesetter, your main responsibility will be to format and layout various documents, including books, magazines, and newspapers. This is an ideal job for students or anyone looking for part-time work.

The ideal candidate will have experience in using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress. You should also have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. As a typesetter, you must have a strong understanding of typography, layout design, and printing processes.

In this role, you will work closely with our editorial team to ensure that all documents are formatted according to our company's standards. You may also be responsible for proofreading documents for any errors or inconsistencies before they go into production.

This is a remote position, so you can work from anywhere as long as you have access to the necessary software and tools. However, some occasional in-person meetings may be required.

Requirements:
- Experience using typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress

Salary:
We are offering a salary of $1700 per month for this part-time position. The exact number of hours worked per week will depend on the workload.
