Typesetter for Publishing Company in Lisbon



We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Typesetter to join our publishing company in Lisbon. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text, images, and other visual elements for our printed materials.

Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with authors, editors, and designers to ensure the accurate representation of their content in printed materials
- Use specialized software to layout text and images according to design specifications
- Proofread and edit text for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors
- Ensure consistency in fonts, spacing, and other design elements throughout the document
- Collaborate with production team to meet deadlines and production schedules
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software updates related to typesetting

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign and other typesetting software
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines under pressure
