Fitter - Entry Level (City: Os, Country: Norway)



As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing various mechanical parts and equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. This is an entry level position suitable for candidates without prior experience in fitting. You will work under the guidance of experienced fitters to develop your skills and knowledge in the field.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components such as pipes, valves, pumps, and motors
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized tools to complete tasks
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of mechanical principles and processes
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- Willingness to learn new skills and work in a team environment
