Welder - Alta, Canada


We are in need of a skilled Welder to join our team in Alta, Canada. As a Welder, you will be responsible for using specialized equipment to weld and assemble metal structures and products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in welding and be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities:
- Use various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate and assemble metal structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and instructions
- Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, grind, and polish metal pieces
- Inspect welded structures for quality control and make necessary repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding
- Proficient in MIG, TIG, Stick welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with various hand and power tools used in welding
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Must have own basic hand tools for job duties

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with steel or aluminum materials is a plus
- Certification or degree in Welding or related field is preferred but not required

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1300 per week for this position.

This position is located in Alta, Canada.
