As an experienced Turner, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machine tools to create precision metal components for our clients. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings. You will work closely with our team of engineers to ensure that production targets are met while adhering to strict quality standards. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role, possess excellent technical skills, and be highly motivated to produce high-quality work. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, drill presses, grinders, etc.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine dimensions and tolerances for finished components
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for different materials
- Monitor machine operations to ensure that parts are produced according to specifications
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Make adjustments as needed to maintain the required quality standards
- Troubleshoot issues with machines or tools as they arise
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Turner in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of different types of machine tools and their uses
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods of time
