Handyman for Contract Work in Malindi, Kenya



A reputable contracting company in Malindi is seeking a skilled and experienced Handyman to join our team for contract work. This is an excellent opportunity for a Pakistani national looking to work abroad or a foreigner with experience working in Kenya. As our projects involve working with English-speaking clients, fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs on various structures and equipment
- Conduct routine inspections and identify any potential issues or hazards
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Paint and touch up walls and surfaces as needed
- Repair or replace damaged or faulty fixtures, furniture, and appliances
- Keep track of inventory and ensure all necessary supplies are available for each job
- Adhere to safety guidelines at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Experience working on construction sites is preferred
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and carpentry techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to handle manual work in various weather conditions

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this position.

Contract Details:
This is a contract position without accommodation included. However, we provide free visa processing assistance as well as a round-trip ticket from your home country to Malindi.
