Florist Assistant


We are seeking a skilled and creative Florist Assistant to join our team in Lusail. As a Florist Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the lead florist in creating unique floral arrangements, maintaining the flower shop, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead florist in designing and creating floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and special events
- Process and arrange incoming flower shipments
- Maintain the flower shop by watering plants, cleaning work areas, and restocking supplies
- Greet and assist customers with their inquiries and purchases
- Provide suggestions to customers on suitable floral arrangements based on their needs
- Take orders over the phone or in person and fulfill them accurately
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
- Assist with deliveries to customers or event venues when needed
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in floral design to ensure our offerings are innovative and appealing

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a florist assistant or similar role is preferred but not required
- Passion for flowers and creativity in design
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Physically fit as this job involves standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy objects, and working with delicate flowers
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is 1400$ per month.

Contract Type:
This is a contract job with the possibility of extension based on performance.
