Head Chef - Fine Dining Restaurant, Oslo


We are currently hiring for a Head Chef to lead our team at a high-end fine dining restaurant in Oslo. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating and executing a menu that showcases the best of Scandinavian cuisine with a modern twist. Your creativity and passion for food will be reflected in every dish that leaves the kitchen.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and design menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and showcase Nordic cuisine
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure freshness and quality
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking methods, sanitation standards, and safety procedures
- Oversee food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and high-quality dishes
- Create daily specials and adjust menus as needed based on ingredient availability or customer feedback
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Head Chef in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Scandinavian cuisine with the ability to create modern interpretations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Creativity and passion for food with an eye for detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory, budgets, and schedules
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Fluent in English (Norwegian language is a plus)
