Data Analyst - Alta, Norway
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations to drive decision making within our organization. Your role will involve working with large amounts of data, using various tools and techniques to extract meaningful information and present it in a clear and concise manner. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collecting, cleaning, and organizing large data sets from different sources
- Analyzing data using statistical models and visualization tools
- Identifying trends, patterns, and correlations in the data
- Creating reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business problems through data-driven insights
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating data quality for accuracy and completeness
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
- Proficient in SQL, Excel, Tableau or other visualization tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner
- Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R
- Knowledge of database management systems
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques
Salary: $900/month (negotiable based on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time (with possibility for extension)
