Junior JAVA Developer

As a Junior JAVA Developer in our company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining JAVA-based applications. Your main task will be to write efficient and high-quality code, following industry best practices and coding standards. You will work closely with our team of experienced developers to enhance existing software and create new solutions.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about programming and eager to learn. You should have a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and the ability to solve complex problems. While previous experience is not required, we expect you to have a good knowledge of JAVA programming language and its frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with other developers to design and implement new features
- Fix bugs and troubleshoot issues in existing code
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in JAVA development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Proficiency in JAVA programming language
- Familiarity with commonly used frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate
- Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript would be a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills

Our company offers a competitive salary of $1000 per month along with accommodation for employees who are not from Svalbard. We also provide support for obtaining a biometric passport if needed.
