Pastry Chef at Luxury Hotel in Monte-Carlo
We are in search of an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxurious hotel in the beautiful city of Monte-Carlo. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts and pastries for our hotel's restaurant and events.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop creative dessert menus that align with the hotel's concept and standards
- Prepare and produce high-quality desserts and pastries according to recipes and standards
- Train, supervise, and manage a team of pastry cooks to ensure consistency in food quality
- Manage inventory levels and order ingredients as needed to maintain freshness
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
- Collaborate with other chefs to create special menus for events or promotions
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team
- Creativity in menu development with a focus on using local, seasonal ingredients
- Fluent in English (knowledge of French is a plus)
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at 1000$ per month for this full-time position. Salary will be determined based on experience level.
