Back-End Developer (Faro, Portugal)


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Back-End Developer to join our team in Faro, Portugal. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your main focus will be on creating efficient and scalable code that can handle large amounts of data. You should have a strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby, as well as experience with database management systems and server-side frameworks like Node.js or Django.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing efficient server-side code for our web applications
- Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Managing database systems and ensuring data security and integrity
- Troubleshooting issues and debugging code to ensure optimal performance
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in backend development
- Working with cross-functional teams to develop new features and improve existing ones

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Back-End Developer
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
- Experience with database management systems (MySQL, MongoDB)
and server-side frameworks (Node.js, Django)
- Knowledge of web security principles
and data protection regulations
(such as GDPR)
- Ability to work independently
and collaboratively
in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
and attention to detail

Bonus Skills:
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS)
and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular)

We offer a competitive salary of 1700$ per month for this contract job. In addition,
