Baker - Pastry Chef



We are a well-established bakery in Lom, seeking a skilled Baker - Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads and pastries, following traditional recipes and techniques. You must have a passion for creating high-quality baked goods and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This position requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Experience in baking, particularly with pastries, is preferred but not required. Salary: 1100$

Location: Lom, Philippines/Kenya (preference given to Filipino/Kenyan nationals)

Requirements:
- Experience in baking breads and pastries preferred
- Knowledge of traditional baking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to follow recipes accurately
- Biometric passport (if applicable)

Responsibilities:
- Prepare doughs and batters according to traditional recipes
- Bake various types of breads and pastries, ensuring high quality standards are met
- Decorate and present baked goods appealingly
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust accordingly
- Keep track of inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
