Junior Accountant in Bergen, Norway


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our financial team in Bergen, Norway. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of financial statements, maintaining accurate records, and reconciling accounts. This role is suitable for men and comes with accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements
- Maintain accurate and updated financial records
- Reconcile accounts on a regular basis
- Process invoices and payments
- Conduct data entry and ensure accuracy of information
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Help with month-end and year-end close procedures
- Support senior accountants with various tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Quickbooks)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must have valid work authorization in Norway

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1400$ per month.
