Entry Level Database Administrator

We are hiring a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Database Administrator to join our team in Faro. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's databases to ensure efficiency and accuracy. As a fresh graduate or someone with minimal experience, you will receive comprehensive training and support from our senior database administrators to develop your skills and advance your career in this field.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain database systems to ensure data accuracy, security, and availability
- Troubleshoot database issues and perform necessary fixes
- Optimize database performance by regularly analyzing usage patterns, identifying potential bottlenecks, and implementing solutions
- Develop and maintain backup and recovery plans to ensure data is protected in case of system failures
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate new applications or systems into the existing databases
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in database administration

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong understanding of database structure, principles, and theories
- Basic knowledge of SQL language for writing queries
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues from different departments

Salary: 1700$ per month.

Working hours: Full-time.

Location: Faro, Portugal.
