Surveyor - Land Development and Construction


We are a leading development and construction company based in Bansko, seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our team. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed surveying services for our land development and construction projects. This is a full-time contract position with a salary of 1400$ CAD per month, with the potential for growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct surveys on land development and construction sites using equipment such as GPS, total stations, and laser levels
- Interpret engineering plans and drawings to accurately stake out boundaries, elevations, and other important features
- Prepare detailed reports on survey findings, including measurements, calculations, and any discrepancies or issues found
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other project stakeholders to ensure accurate surveying throughout all stages of the project
- Maintain accurate records of survey data and produce maps, charts, or other visual aids as needed
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and safety standards while conducting surveys

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Surveying Technology or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in land development or construction surveying
- Proficient in using surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, laser levels
- Experience interpreting engineering plans and drawings
- Strong mathematical skills for calculations and measurements
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred:
- Professional Surveyor (PS) designation
- Experience with AutoCAD or other mapping software
- Knowledge of local laws and regulations related to land development
