Entry Level QA Engineer - St. Petersburg


Our global tech company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level QA Engineer to join our team in St. Petersburg. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing our software products and ensuring their quality before release. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and design test cases accordingly
- Execute manual and automated tests on various software products
- Identify, report, and track defects using bug tracking tools
- Work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Continuously improve testing processes and strategies
- Communicate test results and progress to project managers and other team members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C++)
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium or Appium
- Knowledge of SQL databases
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
