Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking an experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team at a luxury hotel in Lisbon. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue by developing and maintaining relationships with potential clients, as well as managing sales strategies and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, event planners, and other key stakeholders in the hospitality industry
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Conduct regular sales calls and meetings to promote the hotel's services and facilities
- Plan and coordinate sales events, trade shows, and other promotional activities
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for clients
- Prepare sales reports and presentations for management review
- Manage the hotel's digital presence through social media platforms and online travel agencies
- Train and mentor junior sales staff to improve their performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding revenue targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
Salary: $1700 per month
Location: Lisbon
