Excavator Operator

As an Excavator Operator at our company in Fonvieille, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate or move earth, rock, gravel, or other materials. You will be working on construction sites, roadworks, and other projects as needed. Your main goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the excavator while following all safety regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other holes according to project specifications
- Load and unload trucks with materials such as dirt, gravel, and rocks
- Use hand signals or radio communication to direct truck drivers and other equipment operators
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions or damages
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries
- Keep accurate records of daily activities including fuel usage, work performed, and time spent on tasks
- Communicate with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks effectively

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator or similar role
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating various types of heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, etc.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to read project plans and follow instructions accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy equipment for extended periods of time
- Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception for precise movements
