Excavator Operator

We are hiring an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Fonvieille. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to excavate, move and grade earth or other materials. Your duties will include operating controls to manipulate equipment, loading and unloading materials, and performing routine maintenance on the equipment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as an Excavator Operator, a valid operator's license, and a good understanding of safety procedures. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1100 per month. Visa sponsorship is available for non-French nationals. Accommodation is not provided.

Skills/Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an Excavator Operator
- Valid operator's license
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- Ability to interpret blueprints and maps
- Good physical condition and hand-eye coordination
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment, such as excavators, bulldozers, backhoes, etc.
- Use controls to operate the equipment and perform tasks such as digging trenches, loading/unloading materials, etc.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
- Perform routine maintenance on the equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Interpret blueprints or maps to determine work locations and depths needed for excavations
- Communicate with team members on job site for coordination and safety purposes

Working Conditions:
The work schedule for this position is typically Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm. However, there may be times when overtime or weekend work is required depending on project deadlines. The job may require working in various weather conditions and lifting heavy objects.
