Senior Accountant


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Albena, a beautiful coastal city in Bulgaria. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial activities of our company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This is an English-speaking job, so proficiency in English is required.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Monitor cash flow and manage budgeting processes
- Conduct regular audits to identify any discrepancies or issues
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data for analysis and decision-making
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting standards

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accountant
- Proficiency in English
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations
- Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary: $1100 per month

Location: Albena, Bulgaria
