Instrument Technician - Malindi


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Malindi, a beautiful coastal city in Kenya. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various types of instruments used in scientific and technical fields.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair various types of electronic and mechanical instruments
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments
- Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate readings
- Develop maintenance schedules and perform routine checks on instruments
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repairs performed on instruments
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to troubleshoot complex instrument issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in instrument technology
- Follow all safety protocols while working with instruments

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role
- Diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
- Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, control systems, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with different types of instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, etc.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Nepali is a plus)
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the job

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package starting at $1200 per month based on experience.

This position is based in Malindi, a vibrant coastal city known for its beautiful beaches and rich cultural heritage.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with flexible working hours. Some overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.
