Hotel Sales Manager
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team in Faro. As the Hotel Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates. You will also manage a team of sales representatives, oversee the hotel's marketing efforts, and build relationships with corporate clients and travel agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales plans to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Manage a team of sales representatives and provide training and support
- Build strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key partners
- Monitor market trends and competitors' activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly
- Oversee the hotel's marketing efforts through various channels such as social media, email campaigns, and advertising
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the hotel
- Prepare sales reports and analyze data to track performance against goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales management role
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality industry and current market trends
- Ability to lead a team effectively and provide guidance when needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus
Salary: $1300/month without accommodation. Applicants must have their own valid visa for working in Faro.
