Executive Chef
As an Executive Chef at our luxury restaurant in the heart of New York City, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations. Your creativity and passion for cooking will be reflected in every dish that leaves our kitchen, while ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create new menus based on seasonal ingredients and current food trends
- Train and manage a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee food ordering to ensure cost-effective practices
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organization within the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments to plan events and special menus
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Passion for creating innovative dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Diploma or degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred
