Executive Chef
We are looking for an experienced Executive Chef to join our team in Manama. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, creating and implementing menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. You will oversee a team of chefs and kitchen staff, and work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement menus that align with our restaurant's concept and standards
- Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and supervise all kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers
- Monitor food inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with other departments such as front-of-house staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for guests
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines and cooking techniques
- Experience in menu planning and budgeting
- Ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others
- Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends
Salary: $1600/month (negotiable based on experience)
