Electrical Engineer

We are a leading engineering firm in Washington, seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components in various projects. Your main duties will include conducting research, creating detailed designs, testing and evaluating systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. Experience with electrical design software such as AutoCAD and Revit is also required. In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, able to work independently and in a team, and has excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Designing electrical systems for various projects based on client requirements
- Conducting research to stay updated on industry advancements and new technologies
- Preparing detailed drawings using software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Performing testing and evaluation of electrical systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards
- Collaborating with other engineers and team members to develop integrated solutions
- Providing technical support to clients during project development and implementation
- Identifying potential risks or issues during the design phase and proposing solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer or similar position
- Strong knowledge of electrical design software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with relevant codes, standards, and regulations (e.g. NEC)
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

We offer a competitive salary of $1700 per month for this position. Candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
