Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine
We are seeking a talented and highly skilled Executive Chef to lead our Indian cuisine restaurant in Los Angeles. As an Indian national, you will have a deep understanding of the culture and flavors of India, and be able to showcase your expertise through creative and authentic dishes.
Salary: $1300 per month
City: Los Angeles, USA
Requirements:
- Must be of Indian nationality
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian restaurant
- Strong knowledge of traditional and modern Indian cuisine
- Ability to create innovative and unique dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a team
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, production, and presentation in the restaurant
- Develop menus that reflect the diverse flavors of India while also considering dietary restrictions and preferences
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and presentation standards
- Ensure food quality, consistency, and freshness at all times
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and budgeting for the kitchen department
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with management team on marketing strategies to attract customers through social media platforms or other channels
