Senior Architectural Manager


As a Senior Architectural Manager for our company in Svalbard, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of architectural design and construction projects. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in architecture and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of architects, engineers, and construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resources
- Ensure compliance with all local building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Prepare detailed project plans, specifications, and designs
- Review and approve all architectural drawings and plans
- Coordinate with clients to understand their needs and develop appropriate design solutions
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise during construction
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years experience in architectural design and project management
- Proven track record of successfully completing complex projects on time and within budget
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, subcontractors, etc.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or other design software

The successful candidate must also possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, creativity, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure.
