Architecture Manager (Part-Time)


As an Architecture Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and construction of buildings in Svalbard. Your primary role will be to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with local regulations. You will also be responsible for liaising with clients, contractors, and government officials to ensure smooth project execution.

Your key responsibilities will include coordinating and supervising teams of architects, engineers, and contractors; preparing project proposals and budgets; reviewing plans and specifications; conducting site visits; resolving any issues that may arise during construction; and ensuring quality control throughout the project.

To excel in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field, as well as at least 5 years of experience in a managerial position within the architecture industry. You must also possess excellent leadership skills, strong project management abilities, and a thorough understanding of building codes and regulations in Svalbard.

This is a part-time position with a salary of $1600 per month. As this is a part-time role, no accommodation or visa sponsorship will be provided. While this position is suitable for men, we welcome applications from all qualified candidates regardless of gender.
