Mechanic - Automotive Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at a reputable automotive repair shop in Malindi. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on all types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an automotive technician and possess strong troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose vehicle issues and perform necessary repairs
- Conduct routine maintenance, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Use computerized diagnostic equipment to identify problems
- Communicate with customers to explain repairs and provide cost estimates
- Keep accurate records of all work performed on vehicles
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and how they work together
- Familiarity with computerized diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.

This position is located in Malindi, Kenya.
