English-Speaking Librarian in Vilnius, Lithuania

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English-speaking librarian to join our team in Vilnius, Lithuania. As a librarian, you will be responsible for organizing and managing our library collection, assisting patrons with research requests, and promoting literacy and learning within the community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain library materials using standardized classification systems
- Assist patrons with locating resources and conducting research
- Develop and implement programs to promote literacy and lifelong learning
- Collaborate with other librarians to expand the library's collection
- Provide reference services to patrons in person, via phone, or online
- Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, ordering supplies, and maintaining records
- Train and supervise library staff members

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a librarian or in a related field
- Strong knowledge of library management systems and classification systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to assist diverse groups of people
- Passion for promoting literacy and lifelong learning
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others

Salary: $1600 per month (negotiable based on experience)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (accommodation not provided)

Visa & Ticket: We offer free visa sponsorship for selected candidates. Once hired, we will also provide a one-way ticket to Vilnius.
