Senior Accountant

Our company, a leading accounting firm in Akron, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $1200 per month and includes visa sponsorship for non-citizen applicants. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the accounting field, with strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting. They will also possess excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports
- Conduct audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions
- Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and best practices
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in an accounting role
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax laws, and financial reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively under tight deadlines
