Junior Accountant


We are a growing accounting firm in Akron, seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is looking to start their career in accounting and wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting principles and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Basic understanding of accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Must have valid work permit/visa for Akron, USA (non-US citizens)

Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
- Prepare bank reconciliations on a monthly basis
- Assist with month-end close processes
- Generate financial reports as needed
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Communicate with clients regarding any discrepancies or issues
- Support senior accountants with various tasks as needed
