Crane Operator



We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Bergen, Norway. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites. This is a physically demanding role that requires strong technical skills and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes according to established safety standards and procedures
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment before use
- Inspect rigging equipment and ensure it is in good working condition
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication
- Use load charts to determine safe lifting capacities for different types of cranes
- Lift and move heavy materials such as steel beams, concrete structures, and machinery
- Work closely with other team members to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of crane usage, maintenance, and repairs

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Strong knowledge of crane safety standards and rigging techniques
- Ability to read and interpret load charts
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends if needed

Salary: $1500 USD per month (negotiable based on experience)
