Part-Time Executive Chef in Bergen
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Executive Chef to join our team in Bergen on a part-time basis. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating menus, and managing a team of kitchen staff.
Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new techniques or recipes as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu development
- Proficiency in budgeting and inventory management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1000 per month.
