Executive Chef - Seasonal (Fonvieille)
We are in search of an innovative and skilled Executive Chef to join our team in Fonvieille. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. This is a seasonal position without accommodations provided, but offers a competitive salary of $1600 per month.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively
- Creative menu planning and strong knowledge of various cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain high quality standards
- Flexible schedule and ability to work weekends and holidays as needed
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and meet guest preferences
- Oversee food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency in taste and presentation
- Train and manage kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and providing performance feedback
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment at all times
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations within the restaurant
