Job Title: Executive Chef at Luxury Hotel in Fonvieille, Monaco
We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to join our luxury hotel in the beautiful city of Fonvieille, Monaco. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our hotel's culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation and presentation, and managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and high-quality menus that reflect the local cuisine and keep up with current food trends
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of taste, presentation, and quality
- Manage inventory levels and maintain proper food costing to meet budget goals
- Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Monitor food safety practices and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen
- Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure excellent guest experiences
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement new techniques or technology into our culinary operations
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment
- Extensive knowledge of local cuisine as well as international culinary trends
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills to work with other departments and provide clear direction to kitchen staff
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Biometric passport required for international travel
