Preservation Architect


We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Gujrat. As a preservation architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures while maintaining their historical and cultural significance. This is a full-time position that requires experience in the field and the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings and structures to determine preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies that adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation projects
- Conduct research on historical materials, techniques, and construction methods
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for preservation projects
- Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to preservation plans and standards
- Coordinate with local authorities to obtain necessary permits for preservation projects

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Preservation Architect or in a related role
- Strong knowledge of historic building materials, techniques, and construction methods
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations for historic preservation
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Salary: 1600$ per month

Location: Gujrat
