Entry-Level Metal Worker
We are currently hiring an entry-level metal worker for our company in Svalbard. As a metal worker, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal structures and equipment. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine job requirements
- Measure, cut, bend, shape, and join metal components using hand tools and welding equipment
- Operate machinery such as shears, saws, grinders, and drill presses to fabricate or repair metal parts
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metalworking is preferred
- Experience with welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Salary: $1500 per month with potential for growth.
