Indian Executive Chef in Muscat, Oman
We are seeking an experienced and talented Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of Indian dishes to delight our customers. You must have a passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality and consistent dishes are served. This is a contract position with the opportunity for extension or permanent placement. Candidates with their own visa and who have completed at least 12 years of education are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring traditional Indian cuisine
- Train, supervise, and manage kitchen staff to ensure quality standards are met
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in an Indian restaurant
- In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate staff
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
- Good understanding of food cost control methods
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
Salary:
As an Executive Chef in Muscat, you will earn a competitive salary of 1100$ per month.
