Typesetter (English Speaking) - Contract Position in Utena, Lithuania



We are hiring a skilled Typesetter to join our team on a contract basis in Utena, Lithuania. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging written or digital material into visually appealing and readable documents. This role requires strong attention to detail and proficiency in English language.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize software programs to format and arrange text, images, and graphics into various document types such as books, magazines, newspapers, or websites
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of typography, layout, and design throughout the document
- Collaborate with writers, editors, and designers to understand their requirements and incorporate changes as needed
- Verify spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors before finalizing documents
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement new technologies or techniques to improve the typesetting process

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficiency in English language with strong grammar skills
- Familiarity with desktop publishing tools such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members from different backgrounds

Salary:
1500$ per month
